Dimitris C. Koukas was born in Athens, Greece in 1974. He received his education at the University of Athens (1998), concluded a two year post – graduate course in Philosophy of Law at the University of Athens (2001) and also holds a degree in History of Art (1998, American College of Greece, Highest Distinction). He was admitted to the Athens Bar in 2001. He specialises in civil, commercial and public/administrative law matters, with emphasis on litigation proceedings. He has considerable experience in handling complex civil (contracts, torts, inheritance disputes, real estate and securities, claims collection), commercial (legal aid to personal and shareholder companies, securities, intellectual property, National and Community trademarks, consumer protection, new types of commercial contracts, international transport/c.m.r.) and public/administrative (disciplinary proceedings, promotions, transfers, class actions and litigations concerning civil servants, tax and customs law, administrative competitions, infringement of urban planning, environmental and forest laws and regulations) law cases.
